Tonight was an unusual night for drawing. I got a lot of nice comments (thanks everyone) on last week's piece and I really wanted to follow it up with something I spent a lot of time on, but it just wasn't in me. So out came some other unusual items: (1) a rendered drawing (extremely rare (and sucky!)), (2-3) some funny doodles, followed by (4) beeba.net's very first animation!!! It kicks ass! The guys at the table tonight (Mike, Sam, Ryan) were very proud of me.

Man, for some reason I just struggled tonight. I spent more time than I have in a long, long time, yet only have one page to show for it. Ah well, it turned out good in the end.
BTW, a drawing buddy and close friend, Mike May, has a good page up with his stuff on it. Ryan Wood need to get more than a Painter tutorial out there, and still other buddies have no presence on the internet at all! I'm fortunate to have an incredibly talented pool of friends. They are the collective fire under my ass.

Alrighty, I'm back with three brief pages of drawings this time. Missing out on another two weeks of drawing had an obvious impact on my ability to keep my pencil still tonight. I failed to gain the control I wanted over the page... If I can make it to the next few sessions, I should be content with what I'm doing again.
