Oi. This week is looking to be stressful at work and I was happy to get out and draw tonight. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling very inspired. Fortunately, Ryan was there with a weird drawing to steal. I've posted (1) the page I did tonight, and (2) the drawing Ryan did that I stole.

Here's a couple sketches that I did at work. The first is pretty run of the mill poop, and the second's got some dynamic figure tests in it.

The first drawing is a typical "Alan weird-assed" drawing. The second picture contains another shot at that girl I drew on the 19th. She looks quite a bit different, which is only a little frustrating. The guy next to her is her boyfriend. You care.

More work-drawings. I've seen a few new american comic artists successfully blending an anime look to their art, and this (1) is my brain-farted version. I figured that the faces were the most important part of the look, but what do I know, really? The second drawing is a female character test for a comic I had in mind. Her glove is for crushing the skin of robots. Duh.

Heehee! I love the first drawing I did this week. It's what the guys would call it a classic "Alan". So is the second, but in BVD tradition. At least the old guy's not happy about it.
